Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about listing and finding food truck spots.
What is Food Truck Spots?+
FoodTruckSpots.com is a directory that connects property owners (hosts) with food truck and trailer operators (vendors). Hosts list parking spots; vendors search and contact them directly.
Do I need a membership?+
Yes. Membership is required to publish a spot, search the full directory, view full spot details, and contact spot owners. Visitors can see the homepage, how-it-works, pricing, and a teaser of spots (city and rate range only).
How do I list my parking spot?+
Create a Spot Owner account, choose a plan, then publish your spot with photos, rates, availability, amenities, and requirements. It's live for members immediately.
How do I find a spot for my food truck?+
Create a Food Truck Owner account, choose a plan, then search the directory by city/ZIP, rental term, price range, amenities, max truck length, and availability.
Do you take a commission on rentals?+
No. Food Truck Spots is a directory only. You arrange payment directly with the other party and keep 100% of the rent.
Who handles permits and insurance?+
Hosts and vendors arrange agreements, permits, insurance, and payment directly between themselves. Food Truck Spots does not verify listings, permits, or insurance.
What rental terms are available?+
Hosts can offer daily, weekly, or monthly rates — any or all. Vendors filter by the term they need.
Can I pause my listing?+
Yes. Hosts can set a spot to active or paused at any time from the dashboard.
How do I contact a spot owner?+
On a spot's detail page, use the Contact Spot Owner button. Your truck details, preferred start date, and rental term auto-fill a message form.
Is Food Truck Spots a party to my rental agreement?+
No. FoodTruckSpots.com is a directory only and is not a party to any rental agreement between hosts and vendors.
